Know your street before you move

Research what homes actually sold for with Dwelom. Browse recorded house prices by town, street or postcode district across England and Wales. Start with the sold-prices directory, choose a location and open a street to explore its recorded sales. The evidence comes from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data, rather than property advertisements or asking prices.

Each recorded transaction can show the sale price, transfer date, address, property type, tenure and whether the property was a new build. These details help you compare completed sales in the area you are researching. A street name can occur in several towns, or in different parts of the same town, so check the location and postcode before drawing comparisons.

The data does not include bedrooms, floor area or the condition of a home. Two properties on the same road may differ substantially, and a past sale is not a current valuation. Use the records as evidence to discuss alongside the size, condition and features of the property you are considering.

Sales appear after registration and HM Land Registry publishes updates monthly. Recent months are incomplete and records can be revised. Coverage is England and Wales only; Scotland and Northern Ireland are not included in this dataset. Read our data sources page for the coverage and limitations, or learn how Dwelom organises the records before exploring an area.
